If you like singer-songwriters, but are looking for a different sound, try this. I'd compare Vienna Teng's latest to something, but saying she's like Cowboy Junkies meets Lucinda Williams isn't really very accurate orhelpful.That's the problem with a different sort of artist.

Anyway,she has a beautiful, unusual voice, her topics are contemporary, and the songs are varied but involving -- as long as you don't mind a somewhat intimate approach.
