Headphone Reviewers Have It Wrong

Yesterday I read another snippet on the Web about the Sennheiser HD 650 headphones. I just had to wonder, “Who are these people writing about the Sennheiser’s as if they’d never heard them?” Let me just say this is a dark, warm, thick sounding headphone (that is, emphasizing bass and lower midrange, with a depressed high frequency range – though not rolled off). The adjectives used by most “reviewers,” though, wouldn’t give you a clue. Anyway, before you run out and buy these because they are the top of Sennheiser’s deservedly well-respected range, you need to know that they have a very distinctive sound.
