CES Unveiled: New Harmony Remote

The first official press event at CES is CES unveiled, which happens on Tuesday evening January 6th. It features food and an open bar (a sure-fire way to attract the press) and displays from about thirty CES exhibitors. Most are computer or gadget oriented, but a few are audio or at least home theater related. The most interesting new product introduction was from Logitech. Their model 1100 Harmony remote not only looks cool but offers an even higher level of ergonomic elegance thant their previous models. For $499 it can and will do almost anything you would want a remote to do, except of course insure that you will always find something worth watching on TV.
