Can On-Screen Keyboards Really Work?

Gadgetman has not had a good experience with the iPhone keyboard. That's because Gadgetman likes email, and quickly entering more than simple text via the soft keys on the iPhone simply doesn't work very well. A glass screen provides essentially no tactile feedback about where your fingers are. And the keys on an iPhone are just too small.

Hello Gadgetman,

I've found typing with the iPhone significantly easier with the key stroke audio (Click Sound) enabled. While the audio feedback doesn't provide the equivalent tactile feel, it does help.
