ZVOX Unveils Z-Base 550 All-in-One Home Theater System

According to a company press release, ZVOX is introducing the Z-Base 550, an all-in-one home theater solution designed to sit under an HDTV.

The release continues by saying that the Z-Base incorporates a 60-watt amplifier, five 2-inch full-range speakers, and a 5.25-inch subwoofer. The Z-base also features ZVOX’s PhaseCue technology, which creates a surround sound-like experience. The Z-Base is able to accommodate TVs up to 47-inches and is finished in scratch-resistant black vinyl with hand-finished, high-gloss black end caps.

Tom Hannaher, founder of ZVOX, says in the release that “as the prices of flat-panel TVs have come down, more and more people are buying them; however, fewer and fewer mount them on walls. The Z-Base 550 has been designed specifically to address this trend in the marketplace.”
