Wisdom Audio Debuts In-Wall Subwoofer

According to a company press release, Wisdom Audio is introducing the S90i in-wall/in-ceiling Sage Series subwoofer, the perfect complement to the company’s Sage Series planar magnetic loudspeakers and designed to work in conjunction with the company’s Sage Series electronics.

The release continues by saying that the S90i fits in one stud bay and uses dual woofers and a regenerative line design. The company claims that the subwoofer has a “highly efficient design [that] yields fast, articulate results with accurate timbre.” It is designed for use with the SC-1 system controller (which contains Audyssey room correction technology) and any of the Sage Series amplifiers such as the SA-1, which is able to drive two S90i units and provide more than 500 watts to each.

Mark Glazier, Wisdom Audio president, says in the release, “We are delighted with the class-leading performance of the Sage S90i subwoofer. It transcends the previous limitations of in-wall subwoofer designs and ideally complements our Sage Series planar magnetic loudspeaker systems. Finally, there is a high-end subwoofer solution for customers who desire fully-integrated speaker systems with no-compromise performance.”
