
According to a press release, Westinghouse is introducing the TX-52F480S, the company’s largest LCD TV. Affordable and fully featured, the set is currently available from retailers nationwide. Costco, for instance, is selling it for $1,100.
The release says that the 1080p set has a 5,000:1 contrast ratio, a 6.5-millisecond response time, and a 176-degree viewing angle. The set also features Westinghouse’s Autosource technology, which automatically detects a source when it is turned on. Additionally, the set has an energy saving mode and a built-in 5-band equalizer to help optimize sound quality.
