Vizio Introduces Sound Bar and Wireless Subwoofer

According to a company press release, Vizio is introducing the VSB210WS Sound Bar and Wireless Subwoofer package designed to complement its line of HDTVs.

The release continues by saying that the VSB210WS Sound Bar uses four 3-inch midrange drivers and a 1-inch dome tweeter with neodymium magnets in each channel. The Sound Bar incorporates SRS TruSurround and SRS TruVolume, which minimizes extreme fluctuations in volume caused by TV commercials or switching channels.

The release goes on to say that the Wireless Subwoofer features a long-throw 6.5-inch driver and Vizio’s Auto Sync technology to ensure “plug and play” wireless operation.

The system features digital amps that are not yet rated, though according to a PR representative, Vizio vice president Ken Lowe  says the system can produce 90 dB sound pressure levels.
