Tributaries Cable Unveils New Power Managers

According to a press release, Tributaries Cable is introducing the T100 ($350) and the T200 ($500) AC power managers.

The release continues by saying that both models feature “separate AC line filtering, electrical isolation and power conditioning for analog, digital and high-current components.” Both models provide a cumulative power availability of up to 1800 watts and incorporate a new Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) surge suppression technology that provides faster response time and increased absorption in comparison with traditional MOVs. The MOVs used in the T100 and T200 feature ceramic casings to provide added protection from failure and quicker heat dissipation. The release claims that the T100 and T200 will last up to 10 times longer than traditional MOVs.

The release says that if voltage to the T100 or T200 falls below 90 volts or exceeds 135 volts, the units shut down automatically. When the voltage rating returns to the 95-130V range, the unit returns to its normal operating mode.

The release adds that both models come with 3-year warranties in addition to $25,000 warranties for connected equipment.
