Tangent Announces Stylish AM/FM Radio

According to a company press release, Danish audio manufacturer Tangent is introducing the Uno 2go ($279), the latest addition to its line of tabletop radios and audio systems.

The AM/FM radio features a retro look quite reminiscent of, naturally enough, Danish Modern style. If Hans Wegner or Arne Jacobsen, the late Danish Modern vanguards, had designed radios, it’s not too much of a stretch to imagine that they would resemble the Tangent Uno 2go. Stressing minimalism and functionality, the Uno 2go features a 3” driver and runs either on AC power or on rechargeable batteries that recharge when the radio is plugged in. The radio includes an auxiliary input so an MP3 player can be connected. It’s aluminum carrying handle makes it a perfect companion for style-conscious listeners on the go.
