Panasonic Drops Price on 103-inch Plasma by $20,000

Great news for you bargain hunters. Remember that 103-inch plasma HDTV that Panasonic introduced in December 2006? It’s had a wild ride in many commercial applications since that debut. For example:
•    NBC Network’s Sunday Night Football (studio)
•    NBC Network’s 2009 Beijing Summer Olympics (studio)
•    TNT Network NBA Playoffs
•    New York City Hall

And so on. Yeah, I know. At $70,000, you figured it was out of reach at least until you get your income check refund. But good news is hard to keep under wraps. Panasonic is actually dropping the price to $50,000. That’s right. (But someone should tell Amazon.com; they still show it at the old price from two sellers).

Panasonic still holds the record for producing the world’s largest HDTV 1080p display. If your home has 7.5 x 4 feet of viewing space, hey, why not go with the top dawg?
