NAD Introduces New Digital Phono Preamp

According to a company press release, NAD is introducing the PP-3 Digital Phono Preamplifier that enables users to copy vinyl LPs directly to a computer via a USB port.

The release continues by saying that the PP-3 combines the MM/MC phono preamp of the PP-2, but adds an analog-to-digital converter and a USB interface. VinylStudio Lite software is included and enables users to make WAV or MP3 versions of their LPs that can then be copied onto digital media players or onto CD. The PP-3 also has a line input to allow signals from other analog sources—FM radio or even a CD player’s analog output—to be converted to digital files.

Pricing: $180
