NAD Delivers 3D Capable T 567 Network Blu-ray Player

February 1, 2012, UK - NAD has launched its new 3D capable T 567 Blu-ray Network Disc Player, offering true high definition video and audio content from Blu-ray 3D discs or wirelessly from a PC, Mac, or networked device.

With an HDMI connection, the T 567 features full high definition video for Blu-Ray and Blu-Ray 3D discs, uncompressed TV, and online video formats in lifelike resolutions of 1080p/24. Using the latest BD Profile 5.0 and features, this network Blu-ray player can bring BD Live, Bonus View and Blu-ray 3D to high definition displays in brilliant colours including Deep Colour and x/vYcc colour space.

For audio enthusiasts, the T 567 will bring out the best from powerful film soundtracks with popular surround sound formats including Dolby Digital Plus, True HD and DTS Master Audio 7.1. Through audio format decoders, Linear PCM and encoded bitstreams are fed to the user’s optical and coaxial, or HDMI-connected playback devices, with precision to provide an accurate performance. The T 567 will also support MP3, WMA and AAC video formats.

A majority of present users’ audio and video content can be found on a PC, Mac, or network storage device. Through standard Wi-Fi UPnP and DLNA protocols, the T 567 will wirelessly connect with computer-based media such as JPEG, PNG, DiVXHD, and AVCHD content to unlock an online world of entertainment. The user will be able to relive video and photographs from YouTube and album slideshows in a larger, more detailed display. Focusing on the user, the T 567 is equipped with everything to make home entertainment experiences simple and hassle-free. Smartphone applications such as Twonky or RiverMote can be used to transform an iPhone or iPad into a media controller for all the media content stored on a PC, Mac, or networked device. Last scene memory for easy pause and resume of movies, allows users to take total control over film schedules.

The user can insert a FAT32/FAT16 formatted USB drive and record audio tracks from a CD through a front panel USB drive, or connect to automated home control systems such as Control 4, Crestron, and AMX with an equipped IR input.
