Music Fidelity to Ship New Class A Integrated Amp

This May, in addition to all those flowers spawned by April showers, music lovers will appreciate a new blossom from Musical Fidelity, the AMS35i 35w Class A integrated amplifier.

What makes the amp special, among many high-quality features that Musical Fidelity is known for, is the Class A low-feedback design, with each channel having a separate fully balanced choke-regulated power supply. Think extremely low distortion from 10Hz to 50kHz (less than 0.01 percent).

In terms of size, the AMS35i has the basic dimensions of Musical Fidelity’s Primo preamp with the front panel, like the Primo, machined from solid billet. Other plusses include high-quality heat sinks and radiused edges.

U.S. pricing has not been set, but in the U.K. the AMS35i will retail at around 6,000 British pounds.
