Mitsubishi LaserVue TV Now Available at Retail Stores

Mitsubishi LaserVue

A company press release announces that Mitsubishi’s anticipated LaserVue 65-inch HDTV is now available at specialty retail stores nationwide.

Frank DeMartin, Mitsubishi’s vice president of marketing, says in the press release that “[Mitsubishi] is the first TV manufacturer to deliver on the promise of a laser-driven TV.” The release continues by saying that the laser beams deliver twice the range of colors than that of plasma or LCD TVs as well as improving clarity and providing an “immersive depth of field.”

Additionally, notes the release, the TV consumes about 135 watts, or about one-third the power of LCDs and a quarter the power of plasmas. The set also features Smooth 120Hz and x.v. Color technology. Mitsubishi has equipped the LaserVue with 3D-ready viewing technology and integrated speakers in the 10-inch thick frame.

Pricing: $7,000

I'm so glad to see this tv finally come out to the retail market. I think Mitsubishi has done a great job in developing this tv and bringing it to the rest of the world. I believe it will be the forerunner for the rest of the hdtv industry, especially concerning the 3D TECHNOLOGY ASPECTS BUILT INTO IT.I am currently posting more important details of this wonderful tv.
