MartinLogan Introduces Powered ’Stats

According to a company press release, MartinLogan is introducing the Feature ($1,700), a self-powered electrostatic hybrid loudspeaker designed for on- or off-wall application in the center, front, or surround channel positions.

The release continues by saying that the speaker features a 150-watt internal switching amplifier, which allows for a multiplicity of connection options. For instance, the speaker can connect directly to an on-wall TV via an RCA line-level input without the need for an external amp or can be integrated into any home theater system via standard binding posts. The Feature uses a Vojtko crossover and an electrostatic transducer, a neodymium soft-dome tweeter, and dual 5¼-inch woofers to provide crisp, clear sound across the entire frequency range.
