KEF Provides a Reasonable Price of Entry

A press release from English hi-fi makers KEF says that the it is introducing the C-Series, an entry-level line of loudspeakers, which the company claims provides accurate musical response in spite of a modest price.

The release adds that the series comprises the 6-inch C7 floorstander ($400/each); the 5¼-inch C5 floorstander ($325/each); the 5¼-inch C3 bookshelf speaker ($300/pair); the 4-inch C1 bookshelf speaker ($250/pair); the 5¼-inch C6LCR LCR speaker ($250/each); and the 10-inch, front-firing, 200-watt powered C4 subwoofer ($400/each). All models feature a front port and the same 19mm “Tangerine” waveguide used on KEF’s more expensive iQ line of speakers.
