JPS Labs Releases the Superconductor V Loudspeaker Cables

April 30, 2012 - JPS Labs Superconductor+ Series of cables has been a benchmark for over 15 years and well known by audio enthusiasts for being one of the finest high performance cables available worldwide. Given higher resolution sources and components, market needs have evolved to a point where it was time to move forward so that, as in the past, a JPS Labs cable is never a limiting factor in system performance. The Superconductor+ Series is now fully retired and a new model takes over well into the next decade.

JPS Labs introduces our latest model of loudspeaker cables…
It's white, silver, and chrome modern design is large in girth (12 mm/ 0.5" OD) yet lightweight and flexible. The rhodium plated custom made banana connectors each have either a clear or a blue Swarovski crystal marking polarity. Each cable comes in a crystal clear package to show off its good looks. And most importantly, these cables do for music more than you would expect of them.
Excellent sense of space, micro detail without brightness, and with this optimized and highly refined JPS design there is no need to wait weeks or more to hear all the goodness; plug and play. All the proper timing cues the brain requires to localize and recreate the original event as in real life are in place. Superconductor V loudspeaker cables will maximize any systems
value and allow more years of enjoyment. The importance of good cabling becomes crystal clear upon audition.
Available as a Biwire (3.9 mm2 / 11.5 AWG x 4) for 4 terminal biwired loudspeakers, or as a Single (7.8 mm2 / 8.5 AWG x 2) for 2 terminals. Superconductor V was designed to allow any amplifier to properly handle any loudspeaker gracefully and with authority.
Priced around US$ 1749 for a six foot / 1.8 meter pair in any configuration or termination with available lengths from 1.2 meters and beyond.

Just as I thought: It's just hype, they're not real superconductors.

I'm waiting for someone to market true superconducting speaker cables. They'd have to cost more than $1700 though.

It is not everyday that we see information on the cables that make our speakers work but this is the day and age of being able to get any kind of information we want on the Internet.

It would appear that there can be just as much of a decision on a great blog of getting the cables for the speakers as there is in getting the speakers themselves.
