iriver Introduces SPINN Touch Screen Media Player

According to a press release, digital device manufacturer iriver is introducing the SPINN portable media player, featuring a 3.3-inch touch screen and a unique “spindle” interface.

The release continues by saying that the player is available in 4GB and 8GB models for $250 and $290 respectively. The device supports music and movie playback (in a variety of formats) and contains an FM radio tuner, voice recorder, and photo viewer. It even supports Bluetooth 2.0.

A distinguishing feature of the SPINN’s user interface is its ability to allow users to navigate using either its touch screen or a rotating spindle on the side of the device’s silver magnesium case.
