Iomega Introduces Screenplay TV Link

Iomega

A press release announces that digital data and security company Iomega is introducing the Screenplay TV Link, a convenient device that allows users to access computer-based media in the comfort of the living room.

No bigger than a deck of playing cards according to the release, the Screenplay connects to any compatible USB device—a flash drive, a hard drive, and so on—and plays back stored media content on any connected HDTV. Connectivity options include HDMI, component and composite video connections, and both analog (RCA) and digital (coaxial S/PDIF) audio connections. The Screenplay supports upscaling to 1080i and a slew of media formats including MP3, WAV, and JPEG. A remote control is included.

Pricing: $100
