Indy Audio Labs Acquires Aragon and Acurus Brands from Klipsch

The Aragon brand of amps and pre-amps has had a storied history recently. Acquired by Klipsch in 2001 with its purchase of the privately held Mondial Designs, Ltd., the Aragon line was discontinued in 2005, although Klipsch has honored its commitment to customer service for Aragon owners. Now the brand is getting an injection of new life. Former Klipsch engineers Rick Santiago and Ted Moore, sharing 36 years of experience in the filed, have started up a new company called Indy Audio Labs, LLC. The new company will market the Aragon and Acurus brands going forward.

As of May 18, Aragon product owners who call the Klipsch customer support line for Aragon products will be automatically transferred to the new company, which will design and market high-end amps, pre-amps, and processors under the two brand names: Aragon and Acurus.
