
According to a press release, Harman Kardon is introducing its flagship 7.2 channel A/V receiver the AVR 7550HD ($2,800), featuring 110wpc and the company’s latest technological advancements.
The release goes on by saying that it incorporates Faroudja DCDi Cinema processing, which uses the latest Torino chipset for optimal video performance. The AVR 7550HD is among the first receivers to use Dolby Volume technology to maintain consistent levels across a wide rang of frequencies and Texas Instruments Aureus DA710 digital signal processing in a dual configuration for optimal audio reproduction. The receiver supports the latest HD audio formats including DTS-HD Master Audio. In addition, the receiver features multi-zone capability, room calibration/equalization technology, a USB port, and four HDMI inputs.
