The release says that the Koala features a dual-tube output stage, a drawer-type transport that provides exceptional stability, and Goldenote’s latest digital technologies. The player features Goldenote’s Zero-Clock technology, which eliminates jitter and clock errors and includes a very sophisticated digital output filter. The Koala also incorporates Electro Power, a self-adjusting voltage supply that checks itself 50 times per minute, “enhancing audio performance through an innovative current generator that stabilizes micro and macro voltages, delivering a precise and smooth voltage along all signal paths.”

The release continues by saying that the Koala has a Burr Brown D/A converter with 20-bit resolution. Additionally, the player has XLR outputs and a balanced analog audio output stage driven by two Electro Harmonix 6922 mini-vacuum tubes.
