If you're looking for a good display cleaning solution that doesn't leave your displays with a big smudge then the Monster Ultimate TV Cleaner may be what you're looking for.
There are number of screen cleaning products on the market today from reputable manufacturers such as 3M, Belkin, Verbatim, Philips, Maxell and Audiovox among others. My unfortunately, recent experience left me in search of a solution that I would trust to keep my displays smudge free.
After cursing the latest brand of towelette cleaner I picked up I went to Amazon.com to do some research. One that received overwhelming good reviews was the Monster Ultimate TV Cleaner so I decided to give it a shot.
A few days later it showed up I've been extremely satisfied with the product. More appropriately I'm satisfied with the lack of smudges on my displays and I thank Monster's great product for that. The ~$21.00 is well spent for the solution and the microfiber cloth. While I've used it on a number of different displays Monster carries a number of cleaning products so make sure you review which ones are safe for your specific equipment. I used a different brand that the store gave me when I purchased my Samsung Plasma. It left smuges and streaks everywhere.
I was in a panic but found the Monster cleaner and it took off the sumdges and steaks.
It helps keep dust and dirt from sticking to the display due to static generated by the TV
It worked great for me.
Yeah, this stuff is awesome! With the product having been around for three years or so it makes me wonder why so few people seem to know about it.
When a soft and clean MF cloth does not work, add a little distiled water to the cloth. Make sure the display is turned off during cleaning.
For something very stubborn, a miniscule drop of dishwashing liquid and repeat above.
Worse case, use Klear Screen ... if it's used by NASA it's good enough for me,
Some Pioneer Kuro users have reported streaks with Monster cleaner. I would not use anything but the cloth as a regular weekly dusting, unless it got attacked by some small fingerprints or Fido's licks.

Thank you for contacting Pioneer Electronics, Inc.
Most likely, the Windex damaged the color filter on the panel.
Anything with ammonia, alcohol, or other harsh chemicals would do this.
Try using a slightly damp cloth, while the set has been off for a while, see if you can get the streaks to come out.
If not, hopefully it is not too bad and can not be seen when the set is on. Otherwise, you would have to replace the panel.
Thank You,
Pioneer Support Group

My wife used Windex glass cleaner on the plasma screen to clean off finger prints. Now there is some streaking on the glass display. I know the owner's manual only says to use a clean dry cloth. However, those instructions were not followed. Now I want to know if the screen is permanently damaged and if not, what is recommended to remove the streaks? There is a lot of misinformation on the web on this topic as well as products advertised for plasma (and LCD) screen cleaning that seem to contradict the manufacturer's recommendations. A definitive response from Pioneer would be most helpful.
