EWOO Unveils Distinctive iPod Dock/Speaker System

According to a press release, Swiss iPod accessory company EWOO collaborated with French hi-fi manufacturer Cabasse in order to introduce the EWOO eFizz, a unique-looking iPod dock/speaker system that is available now for $499.

The press release says that the eFizz is a single-box 2.1-channel system incorporating a 70-watt amplifier, two 2.5” drivers and a 5” down-firing subwoofer. The system also has RCA auxiliary analog audio inputs and SPDIF optical digital audio inputs.

The dock includes the HandMusic remote, which lets users control their iPods from up to 500 feet away. The remote mimics the iPod’s controls and screen, providing track information and cover art. It enables users to browse all of their iPod’s content and even create playlists while the iPod is docked.

The release notes that the eFizz is compatible with all iPod models.
