Esoteric to Produce 200-Gram LP Re-Masters of Recent CD/SACD Hybrid Titles

Using a process known as “direct Metal stamping,” Esoteric has eliminated two processes from normal LP analogue production methods, and that, according to the company, produces an analog/LP much closer to the acoustic quality of the first lacquer. But the process limits production to 1,000 copies.

Esoteric has employed the method on three titles from its CD/SACD hybrids (all produced using Esoteric’s equipment, including MEXCEL wire and cable). The new 200-gram LP titles from CD/SACD re-masters are:
•    Mozart/Curzon/Britten
•    Dvorak/Kertész
•    De Falla/Ansemet
