According to a company press release, Danish loudspeaker manufacturer Dynaudio is introducing the Focus 360, the newest offering in its Focus series.
The release continues by saying that the Focus 360 floorstander features two newly designed 8-inch woofers, a 5 ¾-inch midrange driver, and an Esotar2 soft-dome tweeter. The 8-inch woofer, made of a magnesium silicate polymer that combines lightness and rigidity, incorporates extremely efficient dual-magnet motor structures. The 5 ¾-inch midrange driver, which also uses a dual-magnet motor structure, sits in an acoustically isolated cabinet chamber. The Esotar2 tweeter features magnetic fluid cooling and damping and has a sealed and acoustically damped rear chamber to reduce backwave reflections.
The release adds that the Focus 360 crossover features polypropylene capacitors and low-tolerance custom multi-core air coils. The cabinet is available in a choice of maple, cherry, black ash, or rosewood veneers.
