Audience Debuts New ClairAudient Loudspakers

According to a press release, San Marcos, CA hi-fi manufacturer Audience is introducing eight and 16 driver versions of its ClairAudient line source array loudspeakers featuring the company’s new A3 driver.

The release continues by saying that the ClairAudient is a true line source speaker that does not require a crossover network. The new A3 driver is full-range and has an exceptionally flat response from 40Hz to 22 KHz. The company claims that the driver is capable of achieving 12mm of fore/aft travel. The A3 uses a large neodymium motor structure, a large voice coil, suspension venting, and has a total moving mass of 2.5 grams. 

Pricing: LSA8: $21,000/pair, LSA16: $35,000/pair
