Atlantic Technology Introduces Three New Speaker Systems

Norwood, MA-based Atlantic Technology, a company that specializes in manufacturing loudspeakers and subwoofers for home theater, has recently announced the availability of three new speaker models: the System 1400, System 2400, and the THX Select Certified System 4400.

Those familiar with Atlantic Technology and its previous models should know that these new systems replace the System 1200, 2200, and 4200e.

Some of the new features showcased in these systems include the company’s LRT (Low Resonance Tweeter) in the 1400 and 2400, new on-wall mounting capabilities with the 4400, and updated aesthetics to be more in keeping with the company’s larger loudspeaker lines. The new 1400 SR-Z, which is dipole/bipole selectable, will work well with Dolby’s new ProLogic IIz audio technology and is well suited as the left/right or rear surrounds in 5.1 and 7.1 channel setups.

All of these speaker systems will be available in late May with MSRP-pricing for complete surround systems ranging from $1,680 to $3,800. And these systems work well with any of Atlantic Technology’s subwoofers.
