Anthem Ships MRX 300 Receiver & Announces 3D Firmware Update for all Models

Anthem’s entry-level receiver is no slouch and the 3D upgrade is an optional add-on for those who already own an MRX and look good in glasses.

The youngest of three born after the Anthem MRX 500 and MRX 700 AV receivers, the MRX 300 packs a processing punch with upscaling to 1080p 60hz, composite/component video to HDMI conversion , a dual-processor audio DSP and decoding for all the major audio formats. 3D Firmware Update

Not everyone loves a 3D experience at home, but quality receivers need to be equipped for the challenge. A free firmware upgrade released on the Anthem website gives entertainment enthusiasts a reason to expand beyond the second dimension, since all MRX models can now process 3D source material.

3D firmware upgrades for all MRX models can be found on the Anthem software updates page.
